Fairy Thank You Cards

I had a baby shower to go to a couple of weeks ago and was thinking of the perfect gift to give.  Immediately, hand made thank you cards popped into my head.  Everyone has to give thank you cards and who doesn't love to receive them, especially ones that are hand made. What a perfect gift to give.  As I was going through my stamps I realized that I do not have any fairy stamps.

Now I love stamps just as much as the next stamper, but sometimes I just do not have the right stamp for every project.  So what do you do when you can't find just the right image???? I find my images on free online coloring pages for kids.  There are so many coloring pages out there that you are sure to find the perfect image for your project.  I just copy and paste the imagine into a power point presentation and adjust the image to the desired size for my project and then print it out.  It is that easy.

The cards I made below are 5x6 inches and I colored them using my stampin up markers.  I love the way they turned out and my friend loved them as well.  She really enjoyed giving them as her thank you cards.

Angel Card

Here is a 5x7 card I made.  The image is from a precious moments coloring page I found here Precious Moments Image that I resized., printed and colored.  I put glitter on the cloud too, which adds just the right amount of sparkle.  I colored the children with stampin up marker.

Fuzzy Critter Card

Here is my fuzzy critter birthday card.  This guy adds just the right amount of fun needed to celebrate anyones birthday.  I used a soft feather boas I purchased at Joanne Fabrics for only $4.99

I purchased the googly eyes at the dollar store.  You get sooo many in a package and all different sizes.  For the inside I used my Basic George cricut cartridge and used the shadow feature.  I cut the little balloons with my celebrations cartridge and popped it up with a strip of card stock scored in four spots to in order to make a square.  I placed adhesive on two side and attached them to the card.

Calendar Gift Box Set

I had so much fun creating this adorable calendar gift box set.  The finished box set is 6x6 in size and 4 inches deep.  I used K& Company 6x6 floral paper pack and matching stickers along with some flowers I got at Oriental Trading.  I really like their flower packs, they are sooo affordable.

Each calendar insert is 4 5/8x4 5/8 in size and no two monthly inserts are the same.

Lollipop Flower

Hi everyone, this is my first try at the lollipop flower that I see all over youtube.  I really like the way they came out.  I love the vintage look that add to any page you put them on.  They also look great as hair clips. The bottom one I made for my daughter as a hair clip.
